Our favorite stuff

We get a lot of questions about the stuff we use — from our camera gear to the furniture that we have in our home. This page will list down the products that we love and recommend, hopefully it can help you find what you’re looking for!

home & lifestyle

The items listed here help us to Eat Well & Move More, directly or indirectly. Some of them are our favorite kitchen essentials, some are our must-have fitness equipment and some make our floor-sitting habits a little more comfortable.

ikea lisabo table

Our “floor desks” are actually IKEA tables. We couldn’t find a good pre-made solution, so we shortened its legs to the height that we wanted.

muji floor chair

Floor chairs are a nice way to sit on the floor while still having the back support of traditional chairs. We got ours from Muji.

muji bean bag

Bean bags are not for everybody, but we love them for their versatility, comfort and how much space they save us.

wooden gymnastics rings

Having gymnastics rings right smack in the middle of our living room offers us a playful way to practise bodyweight fitness, anytime, in any weather.

interlocking floor mats

Instead of yoga mats, we use interlocking foam mats for our workouts, depending on how much space we need on the given day.

ikea skadis pegboard

Another wonderful find at IKEA. This space-saving pegboard allows us to easily organize and access frequently used kitchen items.

film-making gear

Video equipment are generally pretty expensive, but you don’t need high-end gear to make good videos. Our equipment are mostly entry-level products that we’ve been using for many years, that we may very well stick with until they break, eventually.

Canon 800d / rebel t7i

We use a Canon 650D, an entry-level DSLR camera from 8 years ago. This model is the latest generation of our line of camera.

Canon eos rp (not owned)

If we were looking for a camera now, the Canon EOS RP would be our top pick as it’s an affordable way to get into full-frame.

sigma 17-50mm f2.8

The Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 is the lens that we rely on the most. It’s a very versatile all-round lens at a good speed and reasonable price.

samyang 14mm f2.8

canon 50mm f1.8

aputure al-f7

synology ds218j

These are some of the random, miscellaneous items that have showed up in our videos. Some are purely hobby items, some are functional items that we’ve recently fell in love with.
